1. The picture above pretty much sums up why us writer-types are not featured as giants in the world of social mingling.

2. Someone asked me where I got my ideas from. Other than catching me off guard a little, it made me realize something.

I really AM a published writer. That question almost invariably floats into a writer’s sphere, and the more famous the author, the more often it rears its head. It was the first time someone asked me that.  If I become more financially successful at this, i s’pose I’ll grow to hate the question, but for now…yep. Kind of a warm bubbling feeling in my gut.
